SKANS Placements and Career Services Office
Duties:
Provides support to students in work experience placements and guide them according to industry requirements
- over 100+ active employers who are part of our diverse and extensive employer network
- Advise students for available opportunities and advise them accordingly
- support employers in their recruitment process by shortlisting candidates according to employer criteria
- invite employers for on-campus recruitment drives
- Organize Career Fairs and make sure maximum of our students are interviewed on-campus
- sign MOUs with top employers to make sure they support in the employability of our students
- hold specialized training sessions specifically targeting employability such as our renowned Developing Employability Skills Program (DEMPS)
Developing Employability Skills Training Program – DEMPS
Demps is a soft skills training program designed to meet the expectations of the job market of today. We offer this training program 4 times a year, after every ACCA exam attempt (March, June, September, December)
It is a workshop-based training program covering major areas such Presentation & Communication skills, Computer Literacy (MS Office), Professional Grooming, Job application techniques (Resume, Cover letter, Interview skills), Personal Excellence and Conscious living, Accounting Software QuickBooks, recording your experience (PER) to get ACCA membership etc. We strongly encourage students to take this once during their ACCA journey.
Training duration: approx. 60 hours
We have certified trainers for each training area.
